After months and months of planning and anticipating, the day has finally arrived. In just a few short hours, I will be taking off on a two month journey through South-East Asia. The plan: one month volunteering at a law firm in Vietnam's capital city, Hanoi, followed by one week of hopping along the Thai islands, and finally topped off with a 25 day Contiki tour spanning Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam! Phew. I don't think I've ever had such a severe panic attack as I did last night...I almost (for a quarter of a second) considered calling the whole thing off. But now my bags are packed, my kindle is loaded, and my mind is open to whatever is about to come!
